When my elderly parents finally decided to sell their home after living there for 51 years, I knew I needed to have a realtor who knew the market, knew Orange County and I knew would work hard for my folks and someone I could trust. Not only that, but I needed someone with compassion and a soft heart for understanding the emotional side of leaving your home after 51 years. 51 years of memories. 51 years of stories. 51 years of raising 3 kids and memories with grandchildren and now great grandchildren. It was quite the task and to me, it wasn’t just a house sale, but a life change. Tracey came in and immediately put my folks at ease. They adored her the minute they met her. She was there to sell the house, but also there to support my parents emotionally through the entire process. Wow! Since my parents are elderly, they really needed a lot of help, and I could only do so much. Every time something came up, Tracey just told us not to worry and she would take care of it. This is exactly what she did. She helped with my parents move to their new home. She coordinated an estate/garage sale. She cleaned the home. She had walls painted, carpets cleaned and staged the house to look modern and up to date. Her mantra of “move slow, then go fast” really worked. She took the time to “ready” our home so that when it was time for open house, it quickly. Our home went on the market on a Friday, we had open house Saturday and Sunday and by Tuesday we took an offer. We had so many offers, and Tracey helped to guide us to the “right” offer that was most beneficial to my parents and would close the quickest. It’s exactly what happened. My parents’ house sold for well over listing. It went on the market on Feb. 9th and closed on Feb. 27th. It was unbelievable. I can’t recommend Tracey Marcyan enough.
